Sculpture Paint

Jay Sowell sands the "Elysian" on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. "We are going to repaint the whole thing and spruce it up a bit before school starts," Sowell said. He is with the UAF Facility Services Carpentry Shop. The "Elysian" is a steel and paint sculpture on the Eielson Building lawn created by sculptor Linda Howard in 1986.
