For more than six years, I covered events throughout Alaska as a photojournalist with the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. My assignments have included chasing wildfires, documenting stories of victims of alleged sexual abuse by Roman Catholic priests, the development of a nearby National Missile Defense site and oil spills, as well as pet of the week, coverage of local hockey teams and hunting for enterprise art. I am now working as a freelance photographer in Mount Vernon after my family relocated from Alaska this summer.
